Today marks the first out of town show for our Summer tour. I sit in a towel. Freshly showered. Knowing very well that this is a luxury. I'm not sure of the next visiting city that we'll be able to do such things.
Last night we kicked things off in a proper manner at Jake's house. Sweat laced, we played musical notes, danced a little, exchanged stories, bartered shirts and records for numbered papers, then got in the van. Now we do our best to wake up and try to function correctly. Something that's not easy most days. I'm sure some coffee could change that equation, though.
I suppose I should now trade my towel in for some shorts...
